Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has transferred 1.2 billion (1.2 billion) dollars to Pakistan’s account.
While giving a press conference, he said that the remaining amount of 1.8 billion (1 billion 80 crore) dollars will be given to Pakistan after 2 review reports.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that in the last 4 days, Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves have increased by 4.2 billion dollars.
He says that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has played a key role in the talks with the IMF, Pakistan has moved towards stability rapidly.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that the IMF program is for 9 months, in which 3 billion dollars will be given to Pakistan.
He added that it is expected that our total foreign exchange reserves will be between 13 and 14 billion dollars.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar also says that the remaining installment of 1.8 billion dollars will be given to Pakistan after the 2nd review reports.
