A Boeing 737 carrying water to fight a wildfire in Western Australia has crashed, but both pilots miraculously survived.
The plane was fighting a fire in Fitzgerald National Park when it went down.
After the accident, the pictures taken from the air showed smoke rising while the front part of the plane was completely destroyed.
Both pilots have been discharged after a day in hospital, Provincial Emergency Services Minister Stephen Dawson said at a news conference that it was nothing short of a miracle that the pilots got out of the plane alive.
This big plane was the first passenger plane to be used to pour water to extinguish the fire.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau has launched an investigation into the incident.
The department said it was the first time a Boeing 737 had hit the ground in Australia.
