Video has emerged of the moments before a volcano erupted on a New Zealand island in 2019, killing 22 tourists.
In the video, tourists can be seen filming near the edge of the White Island volcano.
Seeing the ash rising from the volcano, the tourists draw each other’s attention to it and start running for their lives.
The video was played during a trial against the island’s owner and tour operator on charges of improper safety of tourists and staff.
