Lahore: Department of Awqaf Punjab has started digitization of shrines, domestic and foreign devotees will be able to submit online donations to shrines through “Nazarana Online”.
Secretary Awqaf Punjab Dr. Tahir Raza Bukhari says that the collection of offerings will be more transparent with this modern system, the money received from inside and outside the country through online donation will be spent on the construction and development of shrines and the welfare of pilgrims.
While discussing the meeting held at Awan Awqaf with the officers of Punjab Information Technology Board regarding online offerings at shrines, Secretary Awqaf said that an effective strategy has been formulated for security of shrines and surveillance, monitoring and supervision of waqf properties.
