Khartoum: In Sudan, 34 people were killed in the battle of Ghamsan between two warring army groups in a busy market.
According to Al Arabiya News, the clashes between the army and the paramilitary forces in Sudan are still ongoing. Clashes continue between the government army and the rest of the army for the occupation of Omdurman area.
Meanwhile, 34 people, including children, were killed in shelling in Al-Mulja Market. Among the dead are mostly traders and transport vehicle drivers. Both warring factions of the army have blamed each other for the deaths.
The Sudanese army has claimed that its continuous operations have forced the rebel Rapid Security Force to retreat from the southern areas of Omdurman.
Since April 15 of this year, fighting has been going on in Sudan between the government army under the leadership of General Abdul Fattah al-Barhan and the paramilitary force “Rapid Support Forces” under the leadership of Muhammad Hamdan Daqloo known as “Hamidati”, in which more than 2,800 people have been killed so far. People were killed and more than 2.8 lakh people were displaced.
