Legendary Bollywood hero Dilip Kumar’s (late Yusuf Khan) wife Saira Banu may be new to the social media platform Instagram, but her Instagram posts are adorned with old memories of her and Dilip Kumar.
Actress Saira Banu took to the photo and video sharing platform Instagram to refresh another memory of her late husband by sharing a picture of him playing cricket in his youth.
Along with the black and white photo, he wrote a long caption and introduced fans to a new side of the Mayanaz actor’s personality and revealed that there was a time when the late actor wanted to be a cricketer.
He wrote in the caption of the Insta post that ‘I like to see this picture because Muhammad Yusuf Khan wanted to be a cricketer in his youth but Allah had written something better in his Qamast.
He further wrote that Mohammad Yusuf Khan aka Dilip Kumar used to go to the field behind Metro Cinema every day after college to play cricket and football. He told me how he saved money and bought his first bat and shoes. were
He also said that Dilip Kumar used to be an excellent athlete during his school days who always stood first in the 200m race.
He also shared another fond memory related to his and Dilip Kumar’s cricket, how he learned to bowl from Dilipji and how he dismissed him on the very first ball, at which even Raj Kapoor couldn’t stop laughing.
It may be noted that Dilip Kumar, the legendary actor of the subcontinent, passed away on July 7, 2021 in a hospital in Mumbai after a long illness. His second death anniversary was celebrated recently.
