Lahore: An application was filed in the High Court for the recovery of the Chief Security Officer of the former Prime Minister.
Federal Government, Ministry of Interior, IG Punjab and others have been made parties in the petition filed in the High Court for recovery in the case of the alleged kidnapping of former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Colonel (Rtd) Muhammad Asim.
It has been argued in the petition that the Chief Security Officer was abducted on May 22, 2023 during the court appearance of Chairman PTI. Colonel (Rtd) Asim was transferred to an unknown location after various police stations. It has been one month and 20 days since they were abducted but still no information is being provided. They have been detained illegally and against the constitution.
It has been requested from the court that the IG Punjab should be ordered to provide the details of the cases registered against the petitioner and the court should issue orders for the recovery of Colonel (Rtd) Asim.
