Karachi: The police took the injured person to the police station instead of the hospital during the looting of robbers in Shahr Quaid, the father of 6 died due to excessive bleeding.
A person was injured by firing during a robbery in Shah Latif’s Pir Sirhandi Goth area and later died due to excessive bleeding due to not being taken to the hospital in time. Abdul Shakoor, the brother of the deceased 42-year-old Nazeem Shah alias Nadeem son of Shujauddin, while talking to Express, said that the brother informed him about the incident over the phone, after which he and his nephew reached the spot.
According to the deceased’s brother, the police had also reached the spot by the time we arrived and instead of taking the injured person to the hospital, they were taken to Shah Latif police station, about 2 kilometers away from the spot, where the duty officer explained the incident to the injured. Obtained the dress and other information of the accused, after which a letter was made to take him to Jinnah Hospital and an ambulance was called and the injured was dispatched.
MLO Jinnah Hospital said that Nazeem Shah was shot in the upper part of the chest which exited behind the waist. The doctor struggled for half an hour to save his life, but Nazeem died due to excessive blood flow during treatment. He said that if he was brought to the hospital on time, his life could have been saved.
The duty officer of Shah Latif Police Station said that Nazim Shah’s brothers did not properly tie the place where the bullet hit, if they had put their hands on that place or tied it with a cloth, the bleeding would have stopped.
Besides, the deceased’s brother said that Nazeem was a tractor driver and was going home after work at the time of the incident. The deceased has 5 daughters and one son while he was the youngest among 5 brothers and 2 sisters. The deceased was a resident of Double Road near Razzakabad Police Training Center while he hailed from Mirpur Sakro.
He said that Nazeem held my hand while injured and said to take care of my son Naeem and daughters. The heirs said that in Shah Latif people do not leave home without reason, because there are so many incidents here that no one The person is not safe.
