Lahore: In the capital of Punjab, the Food Authority took action and seized hundreds of liters of chemically treated milk and detained the supplier.
According to the Punjab Food Authority, during a raid at a dairy in Khadian Khas, 700 liters of fake milk made with chemicals was seized, which was to be taken to Lahore.
DG Food Authority Raja Jahangir said that during the raid, the supplier was arrested and 25 kg powder, 16 kg ghee, prohibited chemicals were also recovered from his possession, which were destroyed, while a case was registered against the accused.
He said that the milk supply vehicle and machines were also seized.
Raja Jahangir said that 700 liters of prepared fake milk was destroyed after the tests done on the spot failed. are harmful.
