IMF accepted Pakistan's $8.2 billion external financing plan

Financing of 3.5 billion dollars will be arranged from China during the current financial year.

Islamabad: The issue of external financing has been settled between the Ministry of Finance and the IMF.

According to sources in the Ministry of Finance, the IMF has accepted the financing gap plan of 8.2 billion dollars sent by the Ministry of Finance.

According to Finance Ministry sources, Pakistan has to get financing from IMF, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, China, Saudi Arabia and UAE. While financing of 3.5 billion dollars will be arranged from China during the current financial year.

According to the plan of the Ministry of Finance, financing of 2 billion dollars was to be obtained from Saudi Arabia, which was received.

Apart from this, one billion dollars from UAE, 500 million dollars financing from Asian Development Bank and 500 million dollars financing from World Bank will be received.
