The request of Saifur Rahman Khan Niazi’s wife Romisa Saif and Zarina Khan to be exempted from attendance today has been approved
Islamabad: FIA Cyber Crime Cell arrested Saifur Rahman Khan Niazi.
Accountability Court Islamabad heard a case of fraud from the public in the name of investment. The main accused Saifur Rahman Khan Niazi appeared before the court along with his lawyer.
NAB witness and private bank employee Mohammad Adnan came forward and said that the records against the accused could not be collected due to being in different branches.
The court directed NAB witness Adnan, an employee of a private bank, to appear with the record at the next hearing and issued notices to two more NAB witnesses Umair and Ali Raza.
The court granted the exemption request of the main accused Saifur Rahman Khan Niazi’s wife Romisa Saif and Zarina Khan from attendance today and adjourned the hearing till July 17, summoning the NAB witnesses to record their statements.
On returning from the accountability court appearance, Saifur Rahman was arrested from outside the judicial complex. Accused Saifur Rehman was arrested in a case registered in FIA Cyber Crime Cell.
