The matter of external financing has been settled between the Ministry of Finance and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
According to sources in the Ministry of Finance, the IMF accepted the financing gap plan of 8.2 billion dollars sent by the Ministry of Finance.
Financing will be obtained from IMF, World Bank, Asian Development Bank (ADB), China, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates.
According to the plan of the Ministry of Finance, financing of 3.5 billion dollars will be obtained from China, 2 billion dollars from Saudi Arabia and 1 billion dollars from UAE during this financial year.
According to the plan, financing of 50, 50 million dollars will be obtained from the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank.
According to the plan of the Ministry of Finance, 3 billion dollars will be obtained from the IMF under the loan agreement.
Sources have said that the external financing plan had to be approved before the meeting of the IMF Executive Board.
The IMF’s executive board will meet tomorrow, in which the board will approve the release of an tranche of about $1.1 billion.
