Khawar Riaz, a well-known stylist, makeup artist and fashion photographer of the Pakistan fashion industry, says that he misses the beautiful and dignified women of yesteryear in the current age of pretentiousness.
Khawar Riaz recently appeared as a guest on a private channel program and spoke candidly on various topics including the current fashion industry.
In response to a question, he said that he does not see the grace and class in today’s women that was there in the days of our mothers.
Talking about Lahore in particular, he said that now the situation has completely changed, in today’s era, pretentiousness has increased to such an extent that no longer such beautiful and dignified women are seen as it used to be in the past.
He also said that I think our mothers are among the last women who used to have class and are now just pretenders.
In the comments of the short clip of her interview that went viral on social media, users seemed to agree with her by commenting in large numbers and according to some, such women are not seen anywhere in Pakistan, not only in Lahore.
