American President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Rishi Sonak met today in London.
According to the British Prime Minister’s spokesman in London, the two leaders stressed the need for cooperation in the long-term defense of Ukraine.
The spokesman said that the US decision to supply Ukraine with cluster weapons was also discussed. Prime Minister Rishi Sonak told President Biden his position on the supply of cluster weapons.
Rishi Sonak’s spokesman added that the UK is bound by international agreements to discourage the use of cluster munitions. Each country is empowered to make its own decisions regarding the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
