Menlopark: The days-long verbal battle between Meta and Twitter has now turned into a formal legal battle. Now X Corporation, the parent company of Twitter, has officially started legal proceedings to launch the Threads app.
It should be noted that within a few days, like Twitter, the users of the Threads app have crossed 10 crores. According to Twitter owner Elon Musk, Meta has not only recruited ex-Twitter employees but also used the company’s technical secrets to create the Threads app. In a tweet, Elon Musk called Threads a ‘copy-paste’ version of his app.
X Corp. said in its statement that Meta used dozens of former Twitter employees for the Threads project. Extract secrets from them, find out app details and even use the intellectual property document in your app development.
Twitter has asked in its demand to immediately stop the use of information related to Mita intellectual property and withdraw the hands of the most confidential information. In its statement, Twitter has emphasized that legal action will be taken in case of non-compliance.
In response, Metta has said that all these allegations are baseless and that no Twitter official is working for the company Metta anymore.
