Lahore: NAB Lahore decided to arrest the former Chief Minister of Punjab after he did not appear despite being summoned in the case of assets in excess of income.
According to sources, NAB Lahore has requested the Chairman NAB to issue an arrest warrant for the arrest of former Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.
According to NAB sources, Usman Buzdar can also be arrested during the inquiry under the new ordinance. A case is going on against Usman Buzdar, including his family, for making assets of more than 9 billion rupees, appointment and transfer, export of wheat and irregularity in contracts.
Usman Buzdar did not appear in NAB Lahore for the 14th time despite summons. Usman Buzdar’s lawyer told NAB that Usman Buzdar could not appear in NAB Lahore. NAB refused to receive an answer from the lawyer of former Chief Minister Punjab.
