The Special Court Central of Lahore accepted the acquittal pleas of Prime Minister’s son Sulaiman Shehbaz and others in the money laundering case of 16 billion rupees and ordered to acquit them all.
Sulaiman Shahbaz appeared before the court. FIA has submitted answers to 27 questions asked by the court.
The learned judge inquired who had conducted the money laundering inquiry. The FIA lawyer informed the court that the JIT had conducted the inquiry which was headed by Dr. Rizwan.
The Supreme Court questioned whether the FIA has written the statement of any witness in the entire investigation. The FIA investigation officer became silent on the judge’s question.
The court further inquired as to what action was taken against those who kept changing their position during the inquiry and investigation.
Investigating officer Ali Mardan told the court that we have not taken any action. The learned judge asked that there is any evidence in the 7th volume of FIA? .
Judge Bakht Fakhr Behzad expressed his anger and said that I will send the FIA people to jail now.
Judge Special Court Central asked where is the former DG FIA who did all this.
The FIA lawyer wrote a letter to the court but he did not come. Sanaullah Abbasi was DG FIA.
The lawyer of FIA said that there is no direct evidence of money laundering against Sulaiman Shahbaz.
The court inquired that if there is someone in direct, then let them know. The investigation officer said that the action was started in the light of the report of the Sugar Inquiry Commission. In the investigation, the FIA took the account details of Sulaiman Shehbaz but his account was not used.
The court asked that why did you file a case against him when his account was not used. The position of the investigating officer was that money was deposited in Sulaiman Shehbaz’s accounts and was withdrawn in cash.
Judge Bakht Fakhr Behzad remarked that this is why I had called FIA to come and tell me whether this drama has been going on for so many years.

The court acquitted Suleiman Shehbaz and others in the money laundering case while giving a verdict on the acquittal pleas.
It is clear that the court has already acquitted Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz from this case on October 12, 2022.
Speaking to the media after the court proceedings, Sulaiman Shahbaz said that this case started from 2018, during which the case of Daily Mail also came up. This child of lies was prepared for five years. .
