The US has claimed to have killed the leader of ISIS in the northern region of Syria.
According to US Central Command, ISIS leader Osama al-Muhajir was killed in a drone strike in Syria.
The US says that the US drone strike in Syria was carried out on July 7.
US Central Command did not provide further details about the slain ISIS leader.
