Islamabad: The anti-terrorism court in Islamabad has extended the interim bail of former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in terrorism cases till July 18.
Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Abul Hasanat heard the case, Shah Mehmood Qureshi appeared in the court along with his lawyer Ali Bukhari.
The court inquired that what progress was made in the investigation of the cases registered under terrorism? On which the investigating officer said that his tweet was taken, the investigation has not been completed yet.
Lawyer Ali Bukhari took the position that there is no tweet of Shah Mehmood Qureshi on record.
The court extended the interim bail of Shah Mehmood Qureshi while adjourning the hearing in both the cases till July 18.
Speaking to the media on this occasion, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that he appeared in the court today and told the court that the investigation involved in this case has been completed, the court has given 18th date and has asked the prosecution to submit the report.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that yesterday Maulana Fazlur Rehman held a press conference and he was upset with PML-N, PDM is not an electoral alliance.
The PTI leader said that the political paths of PML-N and PPP will separate, a new interesting politics is being born.
