Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the retirement of fast bowler Ehsan Adil and all-rounder Hamad Azam.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has congratulated both the cricketers for their services in cricket and wished them well in the future.
Ehsan Adil started his Test career against South Africa in Centurion in February 2013 after which he played 2 more Test matches. He took 5 wickets in 3 Test matches and 4 wickets in 6 ODIs.
Ehsan Adil also represented Pakistan in the ICC Under-19 World Cup held in Australia in 2012 before coming to international cricket.
He took 245 wickets in 67 first-class matches in his career from March 2012 to October 2021. In 67 List A ODI matches, the number of wickets he got was 98, while in 68 T20 matches, he managed to get 86 wickets.
All-rounder Hammad Azam played 11 ODIs between 2011 and 2015 in which he scored 80 runs and took two wickets while in 5 T20 International matches he was able to score 34 runs.
Hammad Azam represented Pakistan in the ICC Under-19 World Cup held in New Zealand in 2010.
In his domestic career from December 2008 to June 2021, Hammad Azam scored 4953 runs and took 186 wickets in 107 first-class matches. In 114 List A ODI matches, he scored 2362 runs and took 91 wickets, while in 98 T20 matches, he managed to score 1361 runs and took 75 wickets.
