Staff Reporter: CTD has claimed to have arrested the main commander of the banned organization and recovered weapons during a raid in Korangi Industrial Area on a tip-off.
According to the details, the Counter-Terrorism Department has raided the Korangi Industrial Area on a tip-off and arrested the main commander of the banned ISIS, Abdul Malik Ould Ibrahim, and claimed to have recovered illegal 30-bore pistols from his possession.
According to CTD officials, the arrested accused revealed during interrogation that he has been associated with Daesh Mullah Abdul Manan group since 2011. The suspect is an Afghani and has been living in Karachi for a long time. The arrested suspect often collects donations from Karachi during the month of Ramadan and gives them to ISIS in Afghanistan.
The accused revealed that he also works as a referrer and has so far sent lakhs of rupees to Afghanistan through referrer.
According to CTD officials, important information has been found from the mobile phone of the arrested accused, which is being forensically examined, further investigation of the arrested accused is going on and important revelations are expected.
