According to foreign media reports, the police detained Alvaro, a 32-year-old suspect who brutally murdered his wife inside the house on July 29. The accused is a builder by profession.
The accused confessed to the crime while giving an initial statement to the police. He said that Satan had pressured me to kill.
The victim was identified as 38-year-old Maria, whom the accused had married a year ago. The couple has five daughters between the ages of 12 and 23.
After killing Maria, Alvaro removed her brain and cooked it and ate it with paratha while using the victim’s skull as an ashtray in the house. He cut the pieces of the victim’s body and kept them in a plastic bag.
The victim’s mother said in her statement that two days after killing Maria, Alvaro contacted his stepdaughter and confessed, asking her to come home and take the pieces of her mother’s body.
Alvaro used a knife, chisel and hammer to kill Maria. Police have started further investigation into the matter.
