Patna: Army officer burns wife and 2-month-old son alive in India
According to Indian media, the incident of burning the wife and son alive by a soldier took place in the city of Muzaffarpur in the state of Bihar.
Police officials say that the Indian soldier had a relationship with another woman. When his wife came to know about this, Himanshu burnt his 35-year-old wife and 2-month-old son alive. The Indian soldier was posted in Rajasthan and had come home on leave. The accused escaped after setting his wife and son on fire.
According to the authorities, the woman and her son were shifted to the hospital where doctors confirmed their death. Raids are being conducted to arrest the Indian soldier. The family members of the Indian soldier’s wife say that he used to demand dowry and often quarreled.
