Washington: The Biden administration approved the supply of cluster bombs to Ukraine.
According to foreign media reports, the United States has announced to supply cluster bombs to Ukraine in a new military package, the Biden administration has approved the supply of cluster bombs.
US President Joe Biden says that it was a difficult decision to supply cluster bombs to Ukraine for the first time, US National Security Advisor Jack Sullivan said that the US took this step after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
He said that Ukraine is facing a shortage of ammunition, that the $800 million military package would give Ukraine a psychological advantage, and that the cluster bombs given to Ukraine would not be used against any other country.

Reuters says human rights groups and the UN secretary general have expressed concern over Washington’s decision to supply Ukraine with cluster bombs.
