Peshawar: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced financial assistance for the families of the children who died under landslides in Shangla district.
According to Express News, the Prime Minister has announced a financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh for the families of each child who died under the landslide.
Financial assistance will also be given by the Prime Minister to the person injured due to the landslide.
The Prime Minister announced the financial assistance on the request of his adviser and the president of Muslim League (N) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engineer Amir Muqam.
Engineer Amir Makam had written a letter to the Prime Minister appealing for help for those killed and injured in the Martong accident.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has also directed Engineer Amir Maqam to meet the affected families and offer condolences.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said in his message to the affected families that he is an equal participant in their (affected families) grief.
It should be noted that last day in Martong area of Shangla district, a mountain fell on the children while playing cricket and 8 children were buried under it and died.
