Gujranwala: Minister of State Mossadegh Malik has said that the prices of petroleum products will not increase before February 15.
Mossadegh Malik said in a statement that the IMF negotiations have nothing to do with petrol prices, there is no possibility of an increase in the prices of petroleum products before February 15.
Mossadegh Malik said that it is important to identify the petrol pumps that are supplying limited quantities, and action will be taken against those who stockpile petrol.
The Minister of State says that there was a meeting with oil marketing companies in the morning, there is 20 days of petrol and 25 days of diesel in the country, people are trying to store petrol.
On the other hand, long queues were formed at the petrol pumps in various cities including Gujranwala, Sargodha, on the rumor of increase in the prices of petroleum products.
According to the sources, petrol has run out at most of the petrol stations due to non-receipt of petrol supply for three days, petrol is available at only 50 petrol stations out of 350 in Gujranwala city and surrounding areas, citizens in long lines of vehicles to get petrol. Forced to wait for hours, the citizens are facing severe difficulties as petrol supply is stopped from most of the petrol pumps in Gujranwala.
Citizens say that the non-availability of petrol despite the increase in the prices of petroleum products is the failure of the government, the citizens are being humiliated by creating an artificial crisis, the government should restore the supply of petrol.
