The representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Pakistan has said that the IMF delegation will meet the representatives of major political parties of Pakistan.
This has been said in a statement issued by the representative of the IMF in Pakistan.
He says that the IMF delegation will meet the representatives of Muslim League-N, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI).
The IMF representative added that the purpose of the meetings was to seek assurances of their support for the new IMF support program ahead of the elections.
The representative of the IMF also says that the new standby agreement with Pakistan will be considered in the Executive Board of the IMF in the coming days.
