After a global outcry against the desecration of the Holy Quran, Sweden began to consider making desecration of the Holy Quran and other holy scriptures a crime.

According to Sweden’s Minister of Justice, Gunnar Strömer, the recent incident of desecration of the Holy Quran has harmed Sweden’s security.

He says the Swedish government is considering whether it can outlaw the desecration of the Koran or other holy books.
