Indian army officer burned his wife and infant son alive

A serving army officer in the Indian state of Bihar set his wife and infant child on fire to death.

According to local media reports, the army officer set fire to two children including his wife, the accused’s two-month-old son died on the spot along with his mother, while the 8-year-old son is undergoing treatment in the hospital due to severe burns.

Local people reported the incident to the local police, but before that the accused managed to escape from the spot. The police shifted the bodies of the accused’s wife and two-month-old son to the hospital for post-mortem.

The victim’s family told the police that the accused killed his wife by accusing him of having an illicit relationship while he was having an illicit relationship with a bank employee for which he wanted a divorce.

They alleged that the army personnel and the bank employee together killed our daughter.

Meanwhile, the police started searching for the accused after registering a case of the incident. In this regard, raids were also conducted at several places.
