Islamabad: The District and Sessions Court summoned Chairman PTI yesterday in his personal capacity in the Tosha Khana criminal proceedings case.
The case was heard by Additional and Sessions Judge Humayun Dilawar, in which Chairman PTI’s lawyer Gohar Ali Khan and Election Commission’s lawyer Amjad Parvez appeared. The court accepted the plea of exemption from attendance today on behalf of Chairman PTI and summoned the arguments yesterday and also summoned the Chairman PTI yesterday in his personal capacity.
During the hearing, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan took a stand that the case in the session court was scheduled for July 8, Chairman PTI has to appear in the Lahore High Court today, the court remarked that the Islamabad High Court will decide the case in 7 days. Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said that after July 10, anyone can give the next hearing date, we did not know that the case is fixed today.

The judge remarked that I am giving a date of July 7 or 8, a decision is to be made on July 10. And 2 days of July 8 are being given.
Barrister Gauhar requested that you only give the date of July 10, we are not using delay tactics.
Lawyer Election Commission Amjad Pervaiz argued that the Chairman PTI has obtained a one-and-a-half-month injunction order from the Islamabad High Court. During this period, Chairman PTI did not appear in the court even once.
The court granted the plea of exception to the attendance of Chairman PTI and ordered him to appear at the next hearing and adjourned the hearing till July 7 after seeking arguments from Khawaja Haris.
It should be noted that the Islamabad High Court annulled the decision of the trial court in the case of Tosha Khana criminal proceedings against Chairman PTI and ordered the trial court to hear the arguments of the parties and take a decision again within a week.
