Yesterday NATO extended the term of its Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg for another year.
Stoltenberg is a former prime minister of Norway and has headed the NATO security alliance since 2014.
His tenure has already been extended thrice.
The decision marks a continuation of NATO policy, with the 31-member security alliance facing the challenge of supporting Ukraine against Russian aggression.
Jens Stoltenberg’s tenure has been extended to October 1, 2024.
