Karachi: Model Court Gharbi sentenced the accused Dar Bibi to life imprisonment after being found guilty in the case of recovery of 10 kg 400 grams of hashish.
According to the report, Model Court West Additional and Sessions Judge Amiruddin in Karachi pronounced the verdict in the case of recovery of 10 kg 400 grams of hashish from the female accused.
The prosecution was able to prove the crime, on which the court sentenced the accused Dar Bibi to life imprisonment. The court also ordered to impose a fine of one lakh rupees on the accused. The court has ordered to cancel the bail of the accused and send her to jail.
The court has said in the verdict that all the evidence proves the crime of drug transfer against the accused. The private witness rickshaw driver also confirmed the accusation of the prosecution. Chemical examination of the seized drugs and other steps were completed as per law.
According to the police, the accused was taking Manishat in Dar Bibi rickshaw. Acting on a tip-off, the rickshaw was stopped and searched, and 10 kg of 400 grams of hashish was recovered from the accused in Dar Bibi.
The accused was arrested on May 19, 2022 from the site area. A case was registered against the accused in the Site B police station.
