Types of crimes and their interpretations have been around for ages, but who knew that a 3-year-old child who peed his pants could be jailed.
A police officer in the US state of Florida handcuffed his 3-year-old son and put him in jail for the ‘crime’ of pooping his pants. A lot of criticism is being made by internet users on this move.
A conversation captured on a police uniform camera has surfaced in which Lt. Michael Schonbrod of the Daytona Beach Police Department in Florida tells an employee of the Department of Children and Families that his son needs to go to the bathroom. It was difficult to train. So he jailed his 3-year-old son several times in October last year and handcuffed him on another occasion to teach him a lesson.
Shawn Brod then explains that after this traumatic experience of being put in jail, his son vowed never to soil his pants again.
