Islamabad: A heartbreaking incident has taken place in a private hospital where the legs of a newborn girl were burnt due to the criminal negligence of the staff.
According to Express News, as a result of serious and criminal negligence of the staff in a private hospital (Dr. Shakeela Hospital) located in the Tiramiri area of the federal capital, the legs of a newborn girl kept in the incubator were badly burnt.
The father of the newborn girl, Syed Ahsan, said that the girl was kept in an incubator due to prematurity, and when seen after a day, her feet and legs were completely burnt.
The baby’s father further said that the hospital staff tried to hide the wound by tying the girl with a bandage saying that she had an allergy. When she was taken to other hospitals, the doctors diagnosed the condition of the girl’s legs as burns rather than allergies. Declared.
Said Hasan said that due to the criminal negligence of the administration and the hospital staff, both the legs of his newborn daughter have been lost, the authorities should take notice and bring justice.
Meanwhile, the affected girl has been transferred to the burn center of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), doctors say that both her legs are burnt and there is a fear that she will not be able to walk.
