Lahore: The Department of Information and Culture Punjab has started receiving applications for Artist Support Fund 2023-24.
The process of receiving applications for the Artist Support Fund 2023-24 has been started by the Government of Punjab in recognition of the services of artists and their socio-economic patronage.
Various fields of arts including film, TV, radio, theatre, music, dance, painting, calligraphy, sculpture, technical departments, editors, sound recorders, lights man, camera man, stunt man, makeup artist. , Artists can submit their applications to Lahore Arts Council Al Hamra, Punjab Arts Council and concerned Divisional Director of Punjab Arts Council.
25 years of experience is required for the eligibility of the applicant, while only artists with an income of less than 35,000 will be eligible to apply for the Artist Support Fund.
In the Artist Support Fund, the minimum age limit for male artistes is 50 years, while for female artists, the minimum age limit is 45 years.
It should be noted that in this program only artists of Punjab province can submit their applications till August 4. Aspiring artists can register themselves by downloading the Information and Culture Department’s app “Fankar” from the Google Play Store.
There is no age or experience restriction for artists with disabilities. Further, the existing list of all artistes on the basis of which they are receiving monthly stipend will be deemed canceled from the end of the financial year 2022-23.
Only artists who submit their applications under Artist Support Fund 2023-24 will be eligible for stipend/financial assistance in the financial year 2023-24, artists who do not apply will not be considered eligible for stipend/financial assistance.
