The federal government has re-requested all the records of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management committee Najam Sethi era.

According to Express News, on the issue of alleged irregularities in the Pakistan Cricket Board, the government has again sent a reminder letter to PCB Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer and the management committee has made recruitments during the Najam Sethi era.

It was also demanded to ensure provision of all records of expenses during the tenure of the management committee including providing data of all persons hired on contract and permanent basis including coaches.

The federal government said that the details of the agreements made during the Najam Sethi era should also be provided, while the record of how many inquiries were completed against the coaches and officials should also be presented.

The government has warned the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to provide all the records by July 4.

Earlier, the ministry has written inter-provincial communication reminder letters on 16 May, 2, 13, 22 June. A copy of which has also been sent to the Prime Minister’s Office.

It should be noted that the federal government has also sought records on the complaints related to the unnecessary expenses of the PCB Management Committee.
