The emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation against the desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden will be held in Jeddah today.
The OIC has urged the concerned governments to take effective measures to prevent heinous incidents such as the desecration of the Holy Quran and other Islamic values, symbols and sanctities.
The Islamic world is protesting against the incident in Sweden and protests are continuing all over the world.
In this regard, ordinary Muslims living around the world are also condemning this incident on social media.
Besides, the European Union has also condemned this incident.
On the other hand, Sweden has rejected the desecration of the Holy Quran as an individual incident.
