Ukrainian President Zelensky has asked for a formal invitation to join NATO, saying that the NATO alliance should take a clear stance on Ukraine.
In a press conference with EU President and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, Zelenskiy said that Ukraine wants to join NATO after the war.
He further said that NATO should take an early and clear stand on this matter.
Earlier, Zelenskiy and Ukrainian army chief Velizy Zaloriny pressed the West to supply arms, ammunition and fighter jets.
He said that war weapons from Russia are getting less in Ukraine, Ukraine needs training of F-16 and pilots.
On the other hand, the American media reported the visit of the director of the American CIA William Burns to Ukraine and said that William Burns met with President Zelensky and Ukrainian intelligence officials.
This trip of William Burns to Ukraine took place before the rebellion of the Wagner group and the rebellion of the Wagner group was not the subject of William Burns’ meeting.
