The government has announced the new price of petrol and diesel but has not yet announced the new price of kerosene and light diesel.
According to petroleum division sources, the new prices of kerosene and light diesel oil are expected to be announced tomorrow.
Sources say that the levy on petrol has gone up to Rs 55 since the increase of Rs 5.
The levy on diesel remains at Rs 50 per litre.
It should be noted that the government has decided to maintain the price of petrol while the price of diesel has been increased by 7 and a half rupees.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar says that the price of petrol remains at Rs 262 per liter while the price of diesel has been increased by Rs 7 and a half per liter for the next 15 days.
