Nottingham: Shaheen Shah Afridi became the first bowler in the history of cricket to take 4 wickets in the first over of a T20 match.

Pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi took a unique record in the history of cricket by taking 4 wickets in the first over of a T20 match. In the T20 Blast against Birmingham Bears, he gave only 7 runs in his first over and guided 4 batsmen to the pavilion.

Shaheen Afridi, the pacer playing for Nottinghamshire, started the over by giving away five runs through a wide delivery, but on the very next ball, he left Alex Davis lbw and bowled Chris Benjamin on the very next ball.

Shaheen Afridi could not complete his hat-trick but on the fifth ball of the over he caught out Dean Mosley while on the last ball of the over he bowled Ed Bernard and claimed a unique record in the history of cricket.
