Karachi: Nabibakhsh police arrested 2 suspects including a police official while solving the mystery of the death of a man named Ilyas in Ramswamy shooting incident on Wednesday night.
According to Express News, while solving the mystery of the death of a man named Ilyas in the shooting incident in Ram Swami Bismillah pan shop street in Nabi Baksh area on Wednesday night, two suspects including a policeman were arrested.
In this regard, SSP City Arif Aziz said that Akash Ali and Hasan, the main accused involved in the firing incident, were arrested and weapons recovered.
He said that there was a quarrel between the accused Hassan and Aamir in which the accused Akash Ali and Hassan Malikar came to quarrel with Aamir and during this time Akash Ali fired in the air which resulted in the chest of Ilyas who was standing in the window of the flat. He was shot and killed.
According to Arif Aziz, after registering a case against the accused, the weapon used in the firing was recovered and taken into possession by the police.
