Famous actress of Pakistan showbiz industry, Nadia Afgan, faced social media trolling after calling actress Yemeni Zaidi an overrated actress, but now the actress broke her silence on this trolling.
Actress Nadia Afgan held a question and answer session on the photo and video sharing platform Instagram, in which a large number of social media users asked her questions regarding Yamuna Zaidi being an overrated actress.
A user asked Nadia Afgan, “Do you think Yemeni Zaidi is really overrated?” And why? Is it because of your son’s character?
Answering the user’s question, Nadia Afgan said, “Yes, but only I like it. You don’t agree with me, it’s your right and you don’t necessarily like what I like.” You are happy in your place and I am in my place’.
He further explained that ‘I have not seen the drama serial Tere Bin Nahi’.
Another user asked, ‘What is your problem with Yemeni? Why did you call them overrated? She is the best actress of Pakistan.’
To which Nadia Afgan replied that ‘I have no problem with them, I just think they are overrated, what is the problem? You don’t agree but don’t impose your will on me. I don’t understand, why does my consent mean anything to you all? Let it go because you shouldn’t matter’.
A user asked, ‘Did people troll you when you criticized Yemen?
To which she said that ‘I am not a ruthless person, I have been working in this industry for the last 26 years, I just answered the question honestly and I will never do that again, I am a senior actress. And I have every right to have my personal opinion, everyone has the right to agree and disagree but no one has the right to be rude and abusive’.
He further wrote, ‘Yes I have been subjected to trolling, people have said very inappropriate and mean things which makes one thing clear that if you speak the truth the whole world falls behind you, lies are easy to digest. And there is a habit, it takes courage to speak the truth and Alhamdulillah I have a lot of courage.
Another user was asked that ‘You once said that you want to work with Yemeni Zaidi’, to which Nadia Afgan replied that ‘No I did not say such a thing but I have worked with her. ‘.
