Occupying Indian forces in Occupied Kashmir prevented Muslims from offering Eid prayers at the historic Jama Masjid in Srinagar.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the occupying administration locked the main gate of Jama Masjid.
Eid prayers were also not allowed in Srinagar and Islamabad district’s Eidgah.
Apart from this, heavy contingents of Indian forces have been deployed in many areas to stop the protest of Kashmiris and the occupying administration has also imposed restrictions on social media websites.
The All-Party Hurriyat Conference has strongly condemned the ban on performing the Eid prayer in the Jama Masjid, saying that preventing the performance of the Eid prayer is a clear interference in religious affairs.
