Introducing a feature to save you from wasting time on Instagram

California: Meta, the company that owns Instagram and Facebook, has introduced two new tools that will continue to warn young people about spending time on these apps.

A post from Meta said the updates are designed to help young people feel more in control of their online observations.

According to Meta, the first new tool will issue notifications to teenagers for spending too much time on Facebook.

Metta said that after spending 20 minutes on Facebook, teenagers will receive a notification urging them to take a break from the app and set a daily time limit.

On the other hand, the second feature will alert the youth for watching videos on the photo and video sharing app at night on Instagram.
