Riyadh: Today, pilgrims from all over the world are enjoying the blessings of Hajj Rumi and Qurbani.
According to Saudi media, millions of Hajj pilgrims are performing the ritual of rummy by pelting Satan with pebbles after returning from Mina, after which Sunnah Ibrahimi is being performed in memory of the sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim and Ismail.
Yesterday, Hajj pilgrims offered Zuhr and Asr prayers in Nimrah Mosque and stayed in Arafat field until after Maghrib. After that, the pilgrims prayed in Muzdalifah under the open sky for the whole night.
Throughout the night, the air was resounding with the sounds of prayers of the pilgrims and in the morning, the pilgrims reached Jamrat, where the three devils are stoned, which is called ‘Rummy’. It is one of the important rituals of Hajj.
After fulfilling the obligation of Rumi, the Hajj pilgrims sacrifice an animal in the way of Allah and then shave their hair and open the Ihram.
