Karachi: Forecast of rain with thunder on the second day of Eid

Karachi: The Meteorological Department has predicted rain with dusty winds and thunderstorms in the city on the second day of Eid. Different districts of rural Sindh are also likely to experience moderate to heavy rains till June 30.

According to the forecast of the Early Warning Center of the Meteorological Department, the ongoing monsoon in Punjab and North-Eastern Balochistan is likely to spread to Sindh, as a result of which there may be thundershowers and thundershowers in Karachi on the second day of Eid.

According to the Department of Meteorology, on Wednesday and the first day of Eid, the city’s weather is expected to be slightly hot, humid and partly cloudy, during the days there may be light rain and drizzle during the night and morning.

The city recorded a hot and humid weather on Tuesday, with the humidity rising to 63% in the afternoon and the sea breezes stopping the heat.

According to the Meteorological Department, Karachi recorded a maximum temperature of 37 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, while the temperature in Dadu and Jacobabad districts of rural Sindh was 43 degrees.

The meteorological department further says that moderate, heavy and heavy rains with dusty winds and thunderstorms will occur in Qamber Shahdadkot, Dadu, Jacobabad, Shikarpur, Ghotki, Sukkur, Khairpur, Nowshahroferoz, Matiari, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tandwalhiar, Mirpurkhas till June 30.
