Lahore: Lollywood superstar Shaan Shahid has expressed his conditional consent to work in Indian films.
Recently, Shaan Shahid participated in Express Entertainment’s program ‘The Talk Talk Show’ where he expressed his views on many topics including showbiz issues.
Host Hasan Chaudhry asked Shaan that if he was offered a film from India, would he work?
On which Shan said that he has ideological differences with India. I am not telling anyone that they should not go to India and work. If they get a way then definitely work because they have nothing in Pakistan except TV dramas.
Shan said that in India, Pakistan and Islam are used as religion cards in elections. But I have some ideological differences of my own regarding Kashmir which I do not impose on anyone else but I cannot work in India myself.
Shaan said that my father made the film ‘Aman’ for Kashmir. It is a pity that even today Muslims are being massacred in India.
He said that if India wants to work, work on the basis of equality, make films on the basis of equality and do 50-50 on whatever it is, then work is possible.
It should be remembered that Shaan Shahid was offered an important role in the Bollywood film Ghajini, for which he refused.
