It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, was asked, “Which deed is better (in the religion of Islam)?” So he said, Meaning: Believing (from the heart) in Allah and His Messenger. Then it was asked: What action after that? So he said: Jihad in the way of Allah. Then it was asked: Which action is better after that? So he said: After that Hajj is valid.

(Sahih al-Bukhari, Chapter Fazl al-Hajj al-Mubarur)

Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that whoever performs Hajj for the sake of Allah (to obtain the pleasure and pleasure of Allah) and during Hajj (in the state of Ihram) with his wife. If he does not go, does not talk nonsense or fights, etc. and avoids (major) sins, then after performing Hajj (he becomes as pure as he was when he was born from his mother’s womb).

(Sahih Bukhari)

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira that the Holy Prophet said, Meaning: Those who come for Hajj and perform Umrah are honorable guests of Allah Almighty. If they seek forgiveness, Allah Almighty will forgive their sins. (Sunan Ibn Majah, Chapter Fazl Dua al-Hajj)

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Musa Ash’ari that the Prophet said, meaning: “A pilgrim who performs Hajj will intercede for four hundred men of his tribe.”

It was narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said while giving dua, meaning: “May Allah forgive those who perform Hajj and also forgive those for whom the pilgrims ask Allah for forgiveness.”

There are some basic things that are very important to consider otherwise the purpose of Hajj will not be achieved.

1: The correctness of the intention: At the time of performing this great worship, make the intention of the pure pleasure and pleasure of Allah and consider it as a special grace and favor of Allah. By abandoning self-importance, hypocrisy, showing off, robbing people and calling yourself Haji Sahib and selfishness, create in your heart only the desire of Allah.

However, keep one thing in mind here that sometimes during the performance of prayers, this idea automatically arises in the heart that people should consider me good, respect me, respect me, I should be valued in the society. . If such thoughts are coming in your heart, then do not leave the prayers but continue to perform them equally. This is not a matter of concern, rather, it is a deception and a whisper of the self and the devil to take away from the worship of Allah, do not give it a place in your heart.

As soon as this thought comes, immediately focus your attention on the grace and favor of Allah and the countless blessings received from Him and think about yourself and explain to yourself that all this is only the grace and favor of Allah on me. This person has shown his mercy on me, a sinner, there is no personal perfection in it. God willing, self-importance, hypocrisy and pretentiousness will be avoided.

2: Don’t delay the performance of Hajj: After Hajj has become obligatory, do not delay in performing it, do not keep putting it off for the future. It is widespread in our society that first the children get free from marriages and then they will perform Hajj. Distance is the result. Two things should be kept in mind in this regard.

One is that there is no certainty in life, and it is unknown whether they will be alive in the next year or not. Second, with the passage of time, the strength of a person decreases, old age and eyesight increases, strength, courage and agility are needed to perform the ritual Hajj.

In the case of delay, they become less strong, and instead of correctness and agility, laziness and laziness arise in a person, due to which he does not get the pleasure in worship, which is found in the worship of youth. Delaying Hajj under the guise of excuses such as construction of houses and marriage of children, etc., is very foolish.

3: Avoidance of sins: In order to realize all acts of worship, especially the duty of Hajj, and to receive its reward in the true sense, it is necessary that a person avoids sins, especially fighting, quarreling, gossiping, and gossiping. Protect yourself from backbiting, slander, cheating, cheating, stealing, taking selfies, taking pictures, nakedness, misogyny, prohibitions of Ihram and mischief of Hajj.

It is generally seen that sitting in the Holy Kaaba and the Prophet’s Mosque, many religious people also commit major sins like backbiting. The easiest solution to avoid this is to engage oneself in the remembrance of Allah and the recitation of the Holy Quran.

4: Don’t waste time in the bazaars: The Haram Sharifeen are very holy places, the reward of worshiping there is much more than the usual places. A person’s life is blessed with such opportunities, so save these moments from wasting.

In order to make the markets more attractive, spend more time in worship, perform Tawaf more often, keep the buying and selling in the market to the extent necessary, try to buy the things you need at once, do not have to go to the market again and again.
