Lahore: Two Christian families have met in Kartarpur after 75 years.

According to PMU Kartapur administration, his relative Yusuf Masih reached Kartarpur from Islamabad to meet Mohan Masih who came from India. Both the families were in touch with each other on telephone.

The Pakistani Christian family could not go to India and the Indian Christian could not come to Pakistan due to the visa difficulties faced by the two countries for the Christian community. The meeting of the two families has been made possible through the Visa Free Kartarpur Corridor.

It should be noted that Yusuf Masih’s two paternal aunts stayed in India at the time of migration to Pakistan. Today, when these two families met, their happiness was palpable, both Christian families thanked the government of Pakistan.
