Indian actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has recalled his past memories and said that filmmaker Anurag Kashyap told him on the set of the film Gangs of Wasepur that he was acting too much like actor Al Pacino.
During a recent interview, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said that Anurag Kashyap even scolded him for his behavior on the sets.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui said that during his training he used to sleep like actor Robert De Niro aka Al Pacino while the trainer advised him not to do so.
He said that I started walking like Al Pacino on the first day of shooting for Gangs of Wasipur, and even started talking like him.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui said that the same night filmmaker Anurag Kashyap scolded me and said ‘You are behaving more like Al Pacino.’
He said he couldn’t sleep well that night and tried to get Al Pacino out of him.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui added that he was pure Nawaz when he returned to the sets in the morning.
